February 1, 2006 -- JOHN Paulus, the former Army Green Beret who told the National Enquirer last week that he had gay sex with "American Idol" superstar Clay Aiken, says he may re-enact the romp in a porn movie. "I haven't ruled it out," Paulus told PAGE SIX yesterday. The muscle-bound ex-military man says he's upset that he's still being deluged with threatening e-mails from Aiken's rabid fans, while the singer himself - who claims he is straight - has remained mum on the Enquirer story. "I still have them threatening me," Paulus said of the "Claymaniacs." "It's, 'I'll poison your pet, I'll blow up your car, I'll spray-paint your house.' That kind of stuff. But I'm not concerned about them." Paulus added that contrary to reports in less reputable newspapers, he was not paid a cent for the story, which he stood up by passing a polygraph test and supplying a DNA-encrusted washcloth à la Monica Lewinsky. But that may not have been a wise move, as his job as a real-estate agent in North Carolina has suffered since the story broke. "I would estimate that I have lost $30,000 in commissions," he said. "Aiken is the most popular person from North Carolina since Michael Jordan."

This guy is looking for an easy way to fame and fortune. He's an opportunist using "the most popular person from North Carolina since Michael Jordan" in his plot. That doesn't necessarily mean Aiken isn't gay, but whether he is or not is really nobody's business. He's a beautiful singer and that's all I care about.

The fact that this guy is looking to be in a porn movie tells you right there he is an opportunistic sleazebucket. I'll take Clay's word over his anyday. Clay may be gay, but there's no way he's stupid enough to troll the internet for gay personals and then meet a complete stranger in a cheap hotel and have unprotected sex with him. He just has too much to lose. If he wanted anonymous in the closet sex, there are plenty of closeted gays in LA (and probably in Raleigh too) that he could've hooked up with, and had them sign a confidentiality agreement ala Tom Cruise.
