Marilyn Manson to play Lewis Carroll in self-penned movie

Shock rocker MARILYN MANSON is set to play ALICE IN WONDERLAND author LEWIS CARROLL in a self-penned movie.

The DISPOSABLE TEENS hitmaker is also planning to produce 'art house horror' film PHANTASMAGORIA - THE VISIONS OF LEWIS CARROLL.
Producer ALAIN DE LA MATA says, "What people expect from Manson, they're going to get here."

Manson will attend Berlin's European Film Market in February (06), in the hope he will find funding for the $4.2 million (GBP2.3 million) movie.

De la Mata adds, "He didn't want to wait for Cannes to do this, he's ready now."

Yes, although the some question the pedophile angle. There was a little girl he based Alice on, and he was interested in her for quite a period of time, but supposedly it wasn't sexual. Who knows what really happened, although I wouldn't put it past him.

this sounds awesome! I agree with you SVZ, i think he'll do a good job. he DOES know how to put on a show and though his videos seemed to be too much for some to handle (not me, i thought they were cool) they were very entertaining.
