Pink Floyd will not reform

Exasperated rockers PINK FLOYD have slammed new reports of a reunion.

The DANGER GAMES hitmakers have been flooded by rumours they are set to reform, ever since they played together at the London leg of the Live 8 charity extravaganza in July (05).

But stars DAVID GILMOUR, ROGER WALTERS, NICK MASON, and RICHARD WRIGHT insist they have no plans to resurrect the band.

In a statement issued by the Gilmour late yesterday (30JAN06) reads: "Nick, Richard, Roger and I are telling fans directly that this is not happening."

Well, I haven't been too concerned about this, but it's nice to get the confirmation. I hate Pink Floyd.

Given that Syd Barrett died and the others did enough drugs to open
their own pharmacies, I suspect that word should be survivors of
Pink Floyd.

However, I doubt they'd be doing themselves any favors by trying to
"recapture" the old magic in their 60s, like the Who and Robert Plant.
And of course Mick & The Stones.

It's probably better that they don't reform and become one of the sorry "Museum" acts out their (like the Stones) performing their old stuff and then attempting to record and perform new stuff that no one wants to hear anyway. That said, I love Floyd and The Wall is one of the best albums out there!

yes, that would be Syd Barrett. You should check out some of his music. It's...amusing. as an example i give you the lyrics to his song
