I miss my tap water when I go out of town. It comes from the Great Lake Erie & now that I think about it Lake Erie is the ugliest dirtiest lake of all the great lakes, but the water tastes good to me.

It's fine by me, though i never drink it.
The worst i recently had was in Bermuda. I swear, just using it to brush my teeth made me sick! It had a horrible smell to it as well.

The tap water in Memphis is actually really good. But I think it's (aquifer)almost tapped out. Technically I'm in MS, but I do have a filter on my kitchen tap and the water is very drinkable to me. But I usually drink bottled water anyway. I do use the tap for cooking and coffee though.

In Miami, everyone I know drinks only bottled or specially filtered water because of the chemical content of the tap water.

OC water is OK. I'm sure the water that I drink in LA restaurants is tap water and it seems pretty good. The water in Miami Beach was the worst. It was yellowish.

I really like the tap water at my mom's house in Maryland. I live in Washington, DC now and I rarely drink tap water because even after 6 years, I still think it tastes funny. Flavored water like SPAM is my fave though- tastes much better than regular water!

^I concur. I moved to a small town in Southern ON and the water literally tasted like water weeds, never got used to it.

Portland, OR has good tasting tap water. At work I drink filtered water, because they provide it for us, but at home all I drink is tap water.

I try really hard not to buy bottled water b/c I feel like it's throwing my money away plus it's very wasteful. I'd rather by a brita or some other water filter and use that.

Kansas City's tapwater shouldn't be allowed to be drank. It always comes out grainy, it's never cold, it's always luke warm, it tastes off... It's just not something I'd ever catch myself drinking.

This little town has the worst water ever..and I thought Columbus water was bad, drinking upstream sewage and all. But the other day the chlorine smell in the water was so bad..I ran some water to do dishes and was letting them soak, and went out of the kitchen for a minute, then came back towards the kitchen and the 'bleach' smell was soo strong I could not believe it..I though maybe I had spilled a cleaner or something..but it was emanating from the standing water in the sink! Yech!

Also the water is so hard and full of chemicals, minerals, etc, it is practically a semi solid! yuck!~ Plus there are frequent 'boil alerts'..except they do NOT really alert you..you just find out when the water coming out of the tap is BROWN!
Don't slap me, cause I'm not in the mood!
