I can't say I drink very much, but I've experimented with a few.
    I like Tom Collinses, even though they're a pain for the bartender to make;
I had a Cuba Libre phase too.

As for beers, I like Caffrey's Irish Cream Ale and Guinness.

And I have a bottle of Hennessey XO cognac, which I will open when I have
a publishing deal signed and sealed.

I love fine wine of all kinds, especially Champagne and white wine. I like red, but I sometimes react badly to it. I also like vodka, some kinds of rum, and tequila. I drink hard liquor sparingly, but when I do, I like vodka martinis straight up with queen olives, no pimento, fresh lime margaritas on the rocks, and the occasional rum and soda or Cuba libre. I don't care for sweet drinks of any kind.

Think I'll go pour myself a nice, big glass of white wine!

I think we have similiar taste buds, I went through a Tom Collins faze for awhile, sweet but really good. And did you say Caffrey's? Another one of my favorite beers. Ever try Beamish? It's a red beer and a pretty fine red at that.

    - A good, not-too-sweet, fresh-tasting mojito or margarita.
    - Wine, red or white, not too sweet, but fairly robust.
    - Amaretto sour, way sweet but yummy.
    - Rum with various things.
    - Keith's, Hoegaarden, Guinness, various microbrews from C'est What.

If I drink it has to be strong. I'm not big on mixes and I tend to find too many cocktails taste like lollywater.

    So my list would include:
    -Red Wine
    -Guinness
    -Johnny Walker Blue Label
    -Jamesons
-Any really good dark Porter Beer
-Baileys/Carolyns if I feel girly lol.

And yeah thats a really Irish liqour list isnt it?

When I go out I usually order Vanilla Stoli/Diet. There's a drink called Nuts and Berries that I love too. But it's more like a dessert drink. I don't end up drinking too much at home, if I do, probably wine.

Right now I don't have excessive knowledge of mixed drinks since I just turned 21 and could start going to the bar. Most of the time I'll just get beer, but I've discovered I like amaretto stone sours. The boyfriend likes beer too, but he's trying to find a drink besides beer that he can order without sounding too "girly" that he'll still like the taste of. He loves the way "girly drinks" taste, but he feels weird ordering them when he's with a group of his friends.

    Hmm...

Gin and tonic, Vodka and tonic, Vodka lemonade and lime (lots of lime) Baileys, wine (either a mellow red, or white). Tia Maria and Coke, Amaretto, Archers and lemonade, Malibu and Pineapple, Malibu Mango and lemonade.

I like my drinks long, and not too sweet at the moment. Don't usually drink all that much though, as I drive, but the list of drinks is endless. Tried my friend's beer the other day, I'm not really a fan of microbeers etc, as we used to make our own beer and wine, which tastes much better to me. This beer however was special, Strawberry Frooli beer. Yum!!

I don't really have "one" drink, I'll drink whatever I feel like at the time, and love trying out new things. I'd say the one drink people associate with me is dark rum. It's an old joke as I come from an area that was once one of the main smuggling ports in England, and I have a number of pirates in my ancestry

It's been martinis, martinis, martinis for a long time now, any flavor, any variety but after my visit to the gourmet chocaltier this afternoon I'll have to switch to Grand Marnier filled french chocolates..

My Mum's just come back from poland and brought me back some Zubrowka vodka and cherry vodka. These certainly pack a punch!! The Zubrowka has a blade of zubrowka herb in it so it's infused with the smell and taste. It's gorgeous with apple juice and ice. Tastes apple / cinnamon. Mmm. Is 10.58am to early to pour a glass?

NoDay, my guy friends are the same way!! One of them actually refused to order me a WooWoo when he went to get the drinks, he made me get up myself & order it just cos he felt "like a dumbass" saying the name!

Nutty Irishmen are good, more of a dessert drink though, since it's Frangelico & Bailey's

Dirty Bananas are fabulous, but it's really hard to find a place that makes them. I haven't had one in I'd say close to 10 years, but the basic flavors were chocolate & banana.

There's one drink that has a different name at every bar I've gone to, but it's Peach Schnapps, Blue Curacao, Sour mix, and optional splash of Sprite. Kind sweet, kinda sour
