I'm not a big drinker anymore. Usually it's beer for me. I'm a fan of Newcastle lately.
I also drink Diet Coke and Malibu, Bacardi Grand Melon and Sprite Zero, or Amaretto Sours/Stone Sours (even though these are barely alcoholic).

And always a good margarita, which are hard to come by. Everyone thinks they can make a good margarita- they can't.

Where have I been...
Bloody Mary's (heavy on the hosreradish)
Beer - afternoon in the sun, it's Molson, best beer EVER is Great Lakes Christmas Ale
Dirty Vodka Martinis (Kettle One) with blue cheese stuffed olives
Mind Erasers
Red Wine
Tequila shots (Milagro)
Margaritas
Dark rum and pineapple
Salt and Pepper Martini (gin, grapefruit, simple syrup in S&P rimmed glass)
I'll stop here, lest I (shock of shocks) get id'd as a lush.

Oh I love those bottles of Wild Vines too, when you want something fruity and not really boozy. The blackberry one is awesome!!

Like strawberry wine at seventeen
The hot July moon saw everything
My first taste of love, oh, bittersweet
The green on the vine like strawberry wine.
That looks like on very small step from Boone's Farm ND. I'm not sure I can approve.

I dunno what is this Boone's farm?
But the wine is good, sweet as hell and not really a high booze count but still tasty.

So who's been stocking up for the holidays?
I just went and got my wine to bring to my aunt's tonight. My favorite cheapo wine (it's a $10 bottle if full price, but was on sale, lol), Relax Riesling. Surprisingly smooth and delicious for such a cheap wine. AND I found out tonight that they switched from a cork to a screwtop, so bonus, no more searching for a corkscrew.
I originally picked it a couple years ago because I liked the bottle

Mmmm....a glass of reisling would be nice right about now.
We've started the Christmas stockpile ... but we probably started too early because we keep drinking it - 'oh, just one more bottle won't hurt', famous last words. The vodka is already gone, and the Pinot Gris. No drinking problems in my house!
But I discovered this brand called Fresita

It's a sparling wine infused with strawberries - it actually has the pulp in it.
It's dangerously good, and perfect for a hot day out next to the pool. Yum! I'm confident there will be none left for christmas...
