Wow, that sounds good (I think!). What does taco sandwiches mean, anyway?

Its just a taco, but instead of putting it in shell, you put it between 2 slices of bread and eat it like a sandwhich. I didnt have any taco shells and i didnt feel like buying some...but I did have bread...*light bulb*

-Cook ground beef and mix in the taco seasoning.
-For the bread, I tried one toasted and 2 untoasted.
-Other taco incredients include: lettuce, tomatos, cheese, etc.

If you're going to make a sandwich with toasted bread, it acts sort of like a crunchy taco. You can just add the meat, the lettuce, tomato, cheese, and whatever like a regular taco. But if you're going for the untoasted bread, like a soft taco, the hot meat will eat through the bread and it'll just make a mess. So, to fix that I put the lettuce on the bread and then the meat. The lettuce was like a little barrier. Then after the meat, i added the cheese and the tomato.

Oh, and instead of using diced tomatos and shredded lettuce, I just sliced them as you would a regular sandwhich. I also cut my sandwiches diagonally to give it a more taco like feel.

A pita bread cut in half would be perfect for a taco sandwich. And the filling wouldn't fall out while you were eating it!

I've been craving fish and chips for a couple of days now. But considering I'm snowed in today, unless I make them myself, I won't be having any. Maybe I'll make something with fish anyway.

Ooh..i'll have to try this. My favorite is having it over rice. Taco rice is the best.

Tonight we're having couscous royale. I have leftover sauce in the freezer so I'll just have to make the couscous.

Garlic mashed potatoes; steamed mixed veg - baby corn, snow peas, baby carrots.

If I ever get off my lazy ass, I might make some biscuits too. I have a craving.
