    Sounds gorgeous! I love lentils.

We had homemade shepherd's pie, Caesar salad, and raw veggies with dip. It was delightful.

I'm having Pumpkin Soup. I am ashamed to say that it's not homemade, but out of the carton.

Don't feel ashamed. There is nothing wrong with taking some shortcuts!

^Oh Yum, what do you have on them?

I don't know what to have yet...probably pasta or rice, I'm such a bad chef

It is very cold & cloudy here- we are going to have Hot Boudin (cajun-pork/rice/spicey sausage thingy) with cold crisp butter lettuce salad and hot french bread.

^^Mmmm, sounds good. We're having sockeye salmon in my special marinade, fresh asparagus, Yukon gold potatoes (I'm allowed half of a small one) and butter lettuce and arugula salad.

We had a bbq as the weather here has been beautiful. I had a piece of tuna, some salad and one veggie and haloumi kebab. Husband and his friend ate roughly half a pig each and no salad.
A big boy did it and ran away.

^^I'm not sure if we're having it now. But it won't keep for long.

I just spread it with a little pesto, stuck a couple of lemon slices on top and wrapped it in a double layer of foil, sealed carefully so I could cook it on both sides without it leaking. I've tried just plonking it on the grill but I find that if you aren't very careful (and husband isn't) it sticks and then falls apart when you try to turn it over or to take it off. Also it doesn't dry out in its little parcel.

I actually only ate half of it as it was a big piece, so I can have the other bit for lunch today.

Potato and onion perogies ... if my son doesn't eat them all!

Honey - regarding the pita pizzas - this will sound weird, but I make an Italian-style white bean dip and I spread some of that on a whole wheat pita, drizzle a little bit of tomato sauce or pizza sauce over top, and pop it in a hot oven for about 5 minutes. This is one of my favorite quick meals.
