Has anyone ever heard of putting white yogurt into chicken soup once it's done and ready to be served? I want to do something different with my chicken soup tonight and it seems like that might be a nice variation.

Never heard of it, but sounds good! Maybe with extra chives? Be sure & say how it worked out.

HaHa now I'll have to do it. Nah, I was planning to anyway. Sour cream might work, but I don't have any (never do) and I love white yogurt. Thanks for the chives suggestion. I first thought I didn't have any, then I realized I have an onion that's growing something out of the top so I'll sautee all that and dump it in. Yum!

I marinated snapper fillets in wasabi sauce + crushed ginger and garlic. I'm gonna pan fry them. Plus brocolli coleslaw and steamed rice.

If you think it's crazy, you ain't seen a thing. Just wait until we're goin down in flames.

Homemade chicken noodle soup. Made it on Monday, and have been eating it all week. Just a little bit left for tonight

My dad was Hungarian and we always put a dollop of sour cream on top of our various stews just before serving. Yummy!

I'm still sick and don't really feel like cooking but I am going to bake a big halibut steak with lemon, garlic and thyme, make a salad and steam some fresh asparagus. If I don't, I'll have to throw it all out soon.

Last night was easter supper so we had a cream of carrots, potatoes and parsnips with maple syrup, bruschetta, sausage cooked in spare rib sauce, ham, mashed potatoes, a mix of vegetables, french bread and dessert was a kind of strawberry cake and chocolate covered cakes stuffed with hazelnut cream.

Forgot to mention that tonight I'll be making a big batch of coucous. Lots of chopping to be done this afternoon.
