I'm at work, drinking a Kendall Jackson 2017 pinot grigio with my homemade black bean soup. Not the ideal pairing but the wine was left over from a big celebration here yesterday.

Mango sorbet from Trader Joe's. I adore mangoes, but surprisingly, this stuff is a bit much. Too sweet and too "mango-y", if that's even possible.

I love mango in almost everything but I hate to eat it fresh (somehow it reminds me of vomit).

mango sorbet is tough to pull off, it's almost always too sweet. ciao bella has a really nice one that's tart enough to balance out the sweetness of the mangoes. the TJ one isn't bad but I agree it's a little on the sweet side, the talenti one is waaaaay too sugary.

    That sounds delicious.
I can’t stand mangos either, besides the sickly sweetness they cracked jimmys windshield and dropped sap all over our cars.

My husband carved a pumpkin the other day, and we roasted the seeds. The first was cinnamon and brown sugar, with a little butter to make it stick. He made dill pickle flavor. I cannot remember all of the ingredients. It had dill of course, salt, pepper, white vinegar ä, garlic, and I think onion powder. I made the pizza flavored, which was the best. Oregano, parsley, garlic, salt, grated Parmesan cheese (the powdered kind), and olive oil. I found the recipes on Pinterest. There are many more I’d like to try.
