I've been going through my recipe box looking for old recipes that I hadn't tried so today I made an Asian pork tenderloin that was pretty tasty.
These sound amazing. My housemate has taken up baking as her lockdown hobby, which is great for my tastebuds and awful for my waistline. Though her creations have been hit and miss so far.

I just had some pho soup. We’re trying to order out at least 2-3 times a week to support our fav local restaurants. We NEVER eat takeaway this much.

Had to get rid of some frozen crabcakes and shrimp and lemons. I was gonna make those shrimps that I posted about a few months ago, but instead I cooked the shrimp and crabcakes then mixed them up with Royal Rice (a blend of white, brown and wild) and some broccoli. Then I baked everything. It's a tad mushy, but guess what? It tastes great. I have to stop ordering out because I shop, and then when I get home, I don't feel like cooking because everything requires EFFORT!!! And sometimes I am so tired after getting home and working out I don't cook all the great food I have. And my neighbor was thoughtful enough to give some veggies from the church food bank they started during the pandemic. Tons of yams, carrots, potatoes, apples, peaches and huge onions. I have to find a way to use them. There were some cucumbers too, but they spoiled.

^i'm making carrot cake (again) this weekend!
i'm an a pro at this point, i've found the best combination of spices and i love the final result.

last weekend i made pastafrola (quince tart) it was very tasty but that's not my favourite pie to be honest.
