If not, try them. Plus they always have coupons. It's like the only salad place where the ingredients have flavor - very fresh and not refrigerated 1000 times. I go to the one in Chelsea.
No, it's this deli that's between the UN and my office called Pax, nothing special but they have very fresh salads and good ingredients. I'll try just salad though, I'm sure there's one in midtown. I also tried another salad chain called chop't, it's not bad but you have to tell them not to chop your salad too much otherwise you end up with salad mince.

Smoked thick cut pork chops with home fries, homemade gravy, veggie kabobs, and corn on the cob. It was a southern fat feast today.

Latte and triscuits (yes I'm out of bread) with butter and cenovis (that's the Swiss version of Vegemite or marmite).

From the question lady - And you pick this up where? And you love it? (Is it grainy and mealy)? Why do I think it is? Can't ya just have fresh raw almond butter?

no it's not grainy or mealy at all, it's thick and smooth and salty and yeasty and absolutely and utterly delicious. you can find marmite and Vegemite in nyc but not cenovis, which is superior imo. so I have my Swiss fiends mail me tubes or bring them when they come visit, or I'll ask anyone going to Switzerland to bring me some back.

chalet, btw, the little toast drawing on the cenovis jar is totally wrong, you would never put that much cenovis on a slice of bread, it's not nutella. you just smear a very thin layer on top of hot, buttered toast, and then die of pleasure.

Cut up chicken breast sauteed with broccoli, mushrooms, grape tomatoes garlic and feta. It was time to clean out the fridge. Can you tell? Actually turned out not half bad.

Holy moley, there was a separate meeting here and they just dropped off a bunch of sandwiches. So, now I'm eating a half chicken salad sandwich, and a half tuna sandwich in addition to the other stuff. Best day ever!
