^I didn't get black eyed peas on New Years because the stores were sold out. It was so annoying. Collards are probably my favorite vegetable.....

Right now I'm eating a Vietnamese sandwich. I went to the place for bahn bao and they didn't have any. Disappointing.

I made my own delish turkey dinner with all the fixings for New Years and last night I polished off another huge plate of leftovers plus the last bit of my baked goods. *burp*
Starting today, I'm back to the way I was eating before all this glorious heifer style mouth-stuffing therefore, right now, I'm eating sliced granny apples with goat cheese drizzled in a wee bit of honey along with a heated cup of almond milk and cocoa.

For xmas, since my last one moved halfway across the world, I went and found myself a new boytoy. This weekend when my kids go to their dad's, I will be focusing on exercise. Gotta love the holidays.

Rare rump steak with steamed spinach, brussel sprouts, broccoli and cauliflower, carrots, beans and peas tossed with butter, fresh crushed garlic, sea salt and cracked pepper, and some slices of tasty cheese...and a couple of glasses of soft merlot. mhmm.

You have to buy black eyed peas when you're getting your Thanksgiving stuff. I learned that the hard way one year. I went to four different stores and they were all sold out.

@krisnine. It seems to me it was on a 20-something street, but I'm bad with directions like that. I can get there, I just can't tell anyone else how to get there. ETA: Yep, you're right, it was 18th St.

Me, too. The after-holidays chub was making my pants too snug. Due to this I'm eating an unexciting turkey on wheat with lettuce, tomato, and mustard.
