Wal-Mart rotissierie bird in garlic butter. Can't get over how tasty it was. Had to throw the rest of it out; even I could not eat the whole thing.

^I can't live without catfish in cornmeal. I am so craving that lately!

cheese and crackers...... the crackers are what I'm not supposed to be eating.....

edit: BITTER, lol about the WalMart rotisserie bird! I sometimes buy those and reheat them with extra spices and stuff. I have even frozen them and warmed them up again with more seasoning. They're not so bad!

sounds amazing!!

i'm feeling feeling very spoiled. last night got invited to dinner at café boulud, had the foie gras as a starter and then sea bass en papillote. both were incredible. shared dessert and it was kind if disappointing though, it looked amazing on the menu - vacherin and meringue and strawberry) but turned out to be little more than strawberries and cream on a red gelatin thing. the miniature madeleines that came with coffee made up for it though, they were perfect and still warm.
and right now about to head to lunch at les halles (one of anthony bourdain's restaurants), will report back on what I have later.

I kind of got click-happy with the like button, but everybody's making me hungry in here.

I'm drinking a homemade smoothie with kale, bananas, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, agave syrup stuff and yogurt. My concession to getting some extra nutrients.....

I made a burrito out of leftover carnitas, cilantro lime rice, and black beans with a bit of sour cream and hot salsa. Also LOTS of fresh cilantro for the haters.

It tastes even better than the day I made it, i guess all the seasoning has had time to sink in. I'm in heaven.
