It's really good. My supermarket buys it from some restaurant that makes the most marvelous soups. The cream-based ones are naughty from a fat content standpoint, but just delicious - perfect in this kind of weather.

A friend linked me to an eggrole recipe the other day and I decided to try it. OMG. Best eggroll I've EVER eaten. I've now eaten four and am hiding the rest from myself before I check myself straight into the fat farm

Clearly, no other nation would embrace that nastiness.

Pan roasted pork chop with a shallot, red wine, balsamic sauce. Roasted red potatoes and roasted heirloom carrots with granulated honey, cumin and cayenne.

After dinner, I did a little dance to myself. Love to cook (and eat).

Jambalaya that I made in the slow-cooker. Trinity, chopped chicken thighs, andouille sausages, giant shrimp I got from the Asian supermarket. Served over rice cooked in chicken stock. Not as thick as when I make it in the skillet, but tasty.

Best Egg Rolls Recipe - Allrecipes.com

Double the garlic and add a dash or two of soy sauce to the mix. They are soooooo good. I also cooked mine in Canola oil instead of peanut oil. Made way more than 8, too

Thanks, Lola. That recipe does look really good.

Bitter, what spices do you use for your jambalaya? Last time I made it, it was lacking something.
