that sounds gooooood, will be copying it.

having a salad with what i could find in my fridge that required little time and effort:
mixed salad greens, red cabbage, carrots, peas, tuna, cucumber. with home made vinaigrette (olive oil, salt, pepper, balsamic, dijon mustard).

Trying something completely different this morning for breakfast. I am a big fan of 'Eat This, Not That' and they (and many others) suggest eating like a King for breakfast, a Prince at lunch and a Pauper for dinner...

Thing is, I don't typically eat breakfast, just not hungry and I absolutely LOATHE eggs (which is what they recommend). But they also suggested adding a little salsa to your eggs in the morning...so, I did.

Made scrambled eggs w/salsa/jalapenos/onion. Pretty good actually, and I cannot taste the eggs! Super easy as well. Maybe I can do this afterall!

I'm never hungry in the morning either. I usually don't eat anything until the afternoon, and even then I don't eat much. My appetite seems to be diminishing as I get older. I have read in several places that people who consume less calories live longer, so as long as I'm healthy, I don't worry about it too much.

As for breakfast, you don't have to eat breakfast foods. Eat what you like. Dinner leftovers are great for breakfast!

I eat breakfast at work five days a week; I don't really eat breakfast on the weekends; I usually eat two meals a day then, and maybe a snacky poo. I may eat eggs for dinner, in a frittata or something.

I'm cooking some chopped up chicken tenders right now and thinking about making a chicken/broccoli/rice casserole for us tonight.

I'm grilling tomorrow night and have steaks marinating for that. Gonna do portobello mushrooms too.

TRUE! And I will eat leftovers if I have any, but am trying to eat a bit better and eggs are such a great food (imho). I have made lots of fritta's and different 'egg' dishes and they are usually ok, but if I can TASTE the egg, ugh. I just hate it. I need to incorporate more protein in my diet.

Funny, I have been scrambling up 2 eggs w/all the shit I mentioned in my earlier post every morning for a few days now. I am not hungry before I do it, but still do it (trying something new like I said) and as soon as I am done eating, I am hungry for more. BUT, in like a half hour after that, I am STUFFED (and I hadn't eatened more). And that does tend to carry me through to mid-late afternoon.
