Made an absolutely fabulous Spanish rice for supper. It was so good and I am so sad that there are no leftovers. *sniff*

It started out as a basic Spanish rice with onion, garlic, chili, cumin, tomato, etc. Then I noticed I had a container of leftover black bean/corn/salsa mix in the fridge and I stirred that in at the end. It was really good.

mmmm that sounds delicious. i'm going to try that. i think that would also be delicious with a fried egg on top as a kind of weekend brunch option.

right now i'm having home-made lemonade with lots of lemon, crushed blackberries and fizzy mineral water, lots of ice. it was 34C today and fucking hot.

About 50 passionfruits. Can't stop cutting them up. They're soooo good when they're sweet. And I don't have much of an appetite in sweltering heat.

Not eating anything. After the total humiliation of clothes shopping today I have decided to give up food.
I bought some yesterday and I think it was $1.20 per container.

I'm currently eating hershey's kisses. let's just say I'm doing it in honor of Shedevil's birthday.
