That is exactly what they are: red seedless, product of Chile.

I have some green ones in the freezer and some black ones in the fridge awaiting their turn.

Given that Chile exports so many grapes(I hardly ever see them from anywhere else), do they have much of a wine industry there?

I think these grapes have been treated with that thing that causes them to swell up, but reduces the flavor. They are huge!-nearly thumb sized.

yes, there is a massive wine industry, especially the central valley, which is close to where i live (santiago). the weather is ideal for grape production - similar to california (or so i've been told, i've never been to cali). lots of vineyards around, great for drunken day trips.
i used to love those chilean red grapes when i was a student in canada. and now i can buy them any time here - for way cheaper.

right now i'm having lunch - sandwich with ham, avocado and dijon mustard.

I'm being bad. I just ordered Mexican food. And had a shot of tequila while waiting.

    Totally yummy!

I've got sauce on the stove for spaghetti. I used to make my own sauce until someone turned me onto Rao's Tomato Basil sauce. I'll eat the sauce straight out of the jar if no one is looking.

I buy it at HEB/Central Market. I just looked online and I usually pay $8 for 24oz at the store but I might save a dollar or two online. I wonder about shipping.

I live in Canada so I don't have much choice if I want the sauce, but it's gotten some rave reviews online (yours included). Seems like it might be worthwhile.

Hot dogs that are buried under a mountain of fried onions and ketchup. I'm trying not to think about the beer in the fridge as I still have stuff around the house and if I start on the beer...

Holy shit, the chicken breast I should have taken out of the freezer last night was still quite frozen earlier so I'm putting together chili cheese dogs tonight!
