LOADS of stuff.
chicken, potatoes, most vegetables, most fruits, beans, crisps, chocolate, pizza, tuna, cereals, waffles, crumpets, sweets, chips, cod, ketchup, yoghurt..... LOADS of stuff just nothing listed above
The things I hate are genuinely easily avoided.
I am picky about chicken. The other night we had chicken at my boyfriend's parents house and I was scared to eat it because it looked and tasted like it was not fully cooked, but I didn't want to offend anyone by not eating it. It was pink, spongy, and tasted like (this is the best way I can describe it) the smell of a wet, mildewed rag.
I don't know about the babies, but everything else is true. People eat everything in Asian countries -- well, at least in China, Korea, Vietnam.
i love duck.
they're cute but they taste so good. the cuteness is not enough to deter me. same goes for rabbits.
I'm open to everything. When you start to criticise the times you live in, your time is over. - Karl Lagerfeld
^you mean ill-advised! I think the aborted babies thing is a rumor based in bigotry. But the other is absolutely disgusting. Thank God I incarnated into a different country.
I love duck! Peking duck is so good.
Growing up, our neighbours were big duck hunters, so we got our fair share, and we always had goose at Christmas.
JuicyLucy - I know of an Asian delicacy that you can get here - they're fertilized chicken eggs. They're still in the shell, but they're...developed. Definitely not for dinner for me!
Can't stand yoghurt. Smells like sick to me.
And I can't bring myself to eat things like mussels or oysters - too kind of slug like.
A big boy did it and ran away.
fish with the head still on
insects of any kind
and to both the fertilized chicken eggs(yeah I have seen that..they basically are eggs with half formed little chicks..and to the warm monkey brains..and dog stew and cat fritters..
Don't slap me, cause I'm not in the mood!
OMG what the freaking hell is BALUT? Sounds nasty. Oh never mind Icepik provided the lovely "details"
Why do they feel compelled to eat anything that isn't your average cow, chicken, or pig in Asia? This is just animal cruelty. Then again, they're not too keen on being humane to human beings either. My cousin said in Thailand he had to 'shit' in a hole then use his hand to wipe away the 'leftovers'. I'm still not sure as to why or where exactly he was. So much for sanitation and my appetite!
More things to add to my list.
Aborted babies ( If this is true! So wrong, sad & disturbing. )
( For you Aussies, is it true you hunt them in Australia? )
Lamb ( I tried and the idea of it made me sick! Baaa. )
