Neither is cow's milk, but it continues to be drunk by millions.

Broiling is putting something under the broiler of your oven -- there is a setting that says broil -- or your toaster oven. It tends to cook things very quickly because it's extra hot.

Of course it's not (the healthiest drink). That would be Redbull. Or Mountain Dew.

Yes, similar to a grill. Most ovens come with a broil pan, which is a grill with a pan underneath to catch the fat from meat etc.

Ah I suppose it's different in England, because ovens don't come with that option. When I came to America, I thought people were misspelling 'boiled' for ages!

    This thread is funny.

A weird habit of mine is I can't drink anything while eating, unless it's a glass of wine with pasta. I can usually drink something about an hour after eating.

I also don't like cold water unless it's very hot outside. I drink room temp bottled water all winter.

Lol. I never use my oven one much because we're mostly vegetarian (my husband is anyway), but I do use the one in my toaster oven for grilled cheese, chicken etc. all the time.

Salad dressing, like Miracle Whip, is way too sweet for me.

Mayo, I love. Especially on french fries

I lived in the Baltimore area for years, & don't recall anybody saying "hon." I even paid attention because, during that time, somebody kept spray painting the word HON under a Welcome To Baltimore sign on the BW Parkway. I kept waiting but never heard it...

Never ate crab cakes there, either.

I don't like Miracle Whip for the same reason. I do like fries with chipotle mayo on the rare occasion that I give in to temptation, but I'm not a big mayo fan either. The low-fat Hellman's is the best of the bunch, IMO. Or homemade.

I've been to Baltimore once and I ate all the crab I could swallow. I love crab.

When I go home to Baltimore to see my family, I try to go in the summer so I can eat crab. My boyfriend said he had too much crab on the last trip! No such thing, I told him.

Come hang out with my family They don't call you by your name, they call you hon. The good people of Baltimore actually tried to get the sign to say "Welcome to Baltimore, Hon", but the city gov wouldn't allow it. Balti-moron's (as we affectionately call them) are proud of their Hon's. John Waters really captures all that is Baltimore kitsch in his movies.

I love Baltimore a lot but am not a fan of that Chesapeke(sp?) Bay seasoning they drown the crabs in. I went to Cafe Hon where they have call you Hon by law, but they didn't have iced coffee- I had to ask for it. Bawlmer is a funky town!
Baby, by the time you have kids and they're in school, no one will care about you.
