This was not very good imo. It just tasted sweet. There was really no flavor to it and no hint at all of salted caramel. The stuff they try to pass off as graham cracker crust was hard and tasteless and a light yellow in color. The whipped stuff on top was like a plastic meringue. One kid liked it, me and the other kid thought it was just sweet and not really good and certainly a waste of $13. Probably my last Cold Stone Creamery purchase.

I did take leftovers home - Auntie had aluminum pans, not paper plates. I got baked salmon, turkey, beef ribs, stuffing, collards, candied sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, slab apple pie, white chocolate mousse and strawberry tres leches.

Strawberry tres leches are one of my faves. My middle daughter just had a birthday and I ordered a shit ton of desserts for the party and a secret stash of strawberry tres leches for us to take home and for only me to consume. Mr. Manning tried to steal the last one and now I have to find a divorce lawyer.

That sucks spynkles. I thought that would be devine. I just checked and was excited to find the last of the green bean casserole. It wasn’t the traditional with the soup, which I love, but it’s got onions and cheese and crackers or something but it’s delicious.

Every year that I am forced to endure Christmas at PITASIL's place I end up being dumped on the kiddie table. Ive not heard anything to the contrary about them going to her parents this year so I guess I'm going to be stuck there again this year.

How do you guys with awkward families cope with having Thanksgiving and Christmas so close together? I'd end up having a total meltdown!

Hanging with the kids is way better than pitasil. I usually am not a kid person, but at holidays they’re pretty cool to mess with when you’re dranking.

Finally, today, I get to make my dinner for myself after shelving everything to go to my uncle's house. Cornish hens with sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, broccoli casserole and gravy. I learned finally to make my own gravy with the stuff in a jar mixed with the drippings from the bird. Perfect.

Now, I am making meals to last me the rest of the week. Everything goes into Ziploc bags.
