Okay, you're invited. Big Lebowski and Fabulous Baker Boys. Commenting during the movies is encouraged. I had to eliminate one movie, too long of a night.

Whenever I do movies with hot/handsome/sexy guys the gals cat call at the screen and it makes the guys nuts.

Whenever there is a beautiful woman and the guys think they've got it cornered, the gals whoop it up even more saying how gorgeous they are, again, makes the guys nuts.

Thanks for the invite! I have a hot night planned, though--trying to figure out my new Water Pik (exciting new purchase of the day!) and watching "Valley of the Dolls". I just re-read the book, and am now itching to relive the cinematic experience.

Hmm, you just gave me an idea for a new theme night....Druggie movies. What to serve?? What to serve!
    M&M's in pill bottles?

Scotch without glasses (as we see from VoD, it helps the "dolls" work faster). You could put iced tea in the Scotch bottles and people could chug from them directly. Or give them real Scotch if you want the party to get wild fast.

If I have people over for games or a movie, I do tapas type things...most recently I had lamb chops with a dipping sauce, roasted potatos, roasted asparagus, stuffed dates. Nothing that had to be served or eaten hot and guests could nibble as we watched. I also made everything a couple hours before anyone showed up. Easy peasy. I don't know about matching foods to movies - I'm not that creative.

I'm moving movie night to your house. I love tapas.

Movie night here always has a theme selected by me. I pick an actor and it's an all night festival. If the actor is Italian or French, that's what we eat. Silly but fun.

Am I the only one that didn't care much for The Big Lebowski?
