My Schwan's guy was like my bi-weekly soap opera fix. He had a family situation that he would give me updates on, and I was hooked. He had a big fat 19 year-old son who sat around on the couch & ate Schwan's food all day, and my guy would come home to the big fat son playing video games, surrounded by food wrappers. The son's goal in life was to be a Video Game Tester. HAHAHAHAHAHA, like every fat lazy piece of crap teenage male. His two daughters left their husbands at the same time, and came to live with him with their babies, and they were both slobs, and left folded-up dirty disposable diapers lying around. I was SO upset when my driver quit Schwan's, because now I don't know what happened with his plans to kick them all OUT.

Schwan's is really good for a lot of reasons. No, no being locked in. No contract no nothing. The guy just shows up every couple of weeks in a truck full of food and you buy what you want or nothing at all. If you tell them you don't want it anymore they stop coming by.

    Good stuff, too!

Jump in front of the truck!

Good food. Lots of convenience stuff. Yeah, you can get pretty fat off of it, but great veggies and fish and stuff, too.

I wasn't too picky back then, so I loved everything, but now I think I would gag on most of it, as I'm used to "real" food. I also remember that eventually we stopped the service and my parents went on Atkins.
LOL..what's "real food"? My kids grew up on the stuff. Yeah, you can go overboard. The ice cream and stuff. But it doesn't get much more real than their veggies and especiallyh their meats if you eat mean (my kids don't anymore--but they are grown and I don't feed them much, anyway). I eat a LOT of their ocean-caugh salmon and tilapia. Other than specialty shops (I live in the Rockies) you can't get real fresh fish here...it's all frozen-thawed. Schwan's is processes at sea, frozen there. It's really good.

But, yeah, I used to order from them, they can be pricey though.
But, then I stopped answering the door.

    I love those Italian Dippers.
Nonsense. They just want to make a living.

I was just looking at their online marketing jobs. I don't think they're paying you enough.

I order from them. Most of the food is pretty good. It is really expensive though, and adds up quickly!!

I think my favorite was some of the foods from Top Chef last year(or 2 years ago?). But they stopped selling it which gave me the sads

I am without a car at the moment, and live in the middle of no where, so it has helped a bit in that aspect. The kids, of course LOVE the food.

My guy stops by once a month. They do have sales every once in awhile and coupons.

Stalk their Facebook page because every once in awhile they give a free gift for first time customers. The last time I saw it, it was free mini pizzas which are the bomb.

My mom used to order from Schwan's when I was growing up and we all LOVED their food. I especially remember the shepherd's pie and the push-up pops.
