I love the 30's! We could all lounge around in satin pajamas sipping tea!
Wearing red-red lipstick and long blood red nail!

A look around eBay turned up some pretties:

    Queen Anne "Lady Eleanor" pattern:

    Paragon:

    Royal Sealy Japan:

    Hammersley:

    Cauldon:

And yes, I'm bidding on a few of them now. I love that last black one but they're asking $18 just for shipping. I'm not much of a floral/chintz person in general, but I do adore vintage tea cups!

Here's another one of mine - Shelley Bone China in Rock Garden Chintz pattern. I just love this chintz.

Sipping my morning tea and found this thread. So cool! My daughter and I bought a tea set last year so we could have tea together. Think I need to do that today!

    Thanks for the smiles!

Oh man! I'd love to...but I have no clue how to post pix. I'll have to have mr. tulip help me.

We got the cups b/c they have little feet on them. They are a pretty blue floral pattern. We even got a matching tiered tray for our snacks.

This is a Shelley in the vogue shape, with the pattern red blocks. I had one of these in green blocks but I sold it. They are expensive, and quite old, 1920's, and completely Art Deco.

Not everybody likes them (my daughter doesn't) but I think the design is elegant and very modern for the 1920's.
