i also love anything inspired by the wiener werkstätte from the early 20th century, like this re-issue of a josef hoffmann set, which i would kill to get my hands on. it's actually for coffee but i think you can use the cups for tea:

    tres cool...

Here's another one of mine. It's English bone china, from Shelley in the Dainty shape with a pattern called "stocks". Shelley tea cups are much admired and sought after, and I think the picture shows why:

I'm just a sucker for these pink floral cups!

Into the sunrise. The sunset is sad to me….it only means the night is coming.

^^Oh what a lovely tea set - do you know who makes/made it? The tea cup is especially pretty with so much of the floral on it.

This is not a great picture, but look closely at the handles - I think they are spectacular - love the colours too. They are Carlton Ware (english) "Moderne", likely early 1930's.

[still working on the pics - camera gone AWOL]

I love Japanese ceramics too - that celadon green is beautiful. Next time I redecorate I want to include that specific colour somehow.

i love the colour too. i fell in love with it when i was in boston and one of the museums there has an incredible collection of ancient celadon porcelains.

I posted my Paragon butterfly handled tea cup earlier - now I'll add the Aynsley butterfly handle, 1930's (not mine).

And earlier someone posted some lovely Noritake - I love Noritake, and found this vintage tea set called, Green and Peach Luster. 1930' again. Gorgeous, no? It seems the 1930's was a wonderful decade for china.
