This is the same one my MIL had. After she passed away I never saw it again.
Into the sunrise. The sunset is sad to me….it only means the night is coming.

Taffy! I was looking up those plates-the ones with the gorgeous tree & saw this:
    Noritake Palace Christmas Platinum Information

California Residents: Prop 65 Warning - Use of this stemware will cause exposure to lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Says stemware here, but it was under those plates. Do you think it is safe? I do love it.

I have the gold trim not the platinum, but holy cow! thanks. I'm really not sure what is going on with the lead warning from California. I think these are still being sold in Canada. There may not be much harm if they are used for a month or so a year, but jeez, they were expensive! If you find more info, please let me know. BTW, I love the Spode!

I think I have that one - my mother left me tons of Royal Albert and I stuffed them all away in the bottom of a cabinet - I'll look tomorrow.

PS: They are being sold all over the web at half price! I'm shocked! What the heck is going on? Must calm down - going to blind items for a while.

McJag, when my MIL died my SIL and BIL scoured the house for things that would be of value. I believe they have it because SIL's birthday is also May. They were actually looking for all the jewelry but my FIL already gave it to me.

Some people just don't feel the love. They just feel the money. It's so sad.

I have just begun collecting tea cups and pots in the last 2 years. We are lucky to have English tea rooms here and i have a ton of girly friends who love to have tea parties. So much fun. Here is a link to a tea company not far from me. Its bigger and better than Starbucks and TEA TEA TEA! The Hooker Tea Company

Good idea McJag - here are some pieces from Mason's Christmas Village - maybe next year I'll buy the teapot and cups:

    Description It's an ant invasion.

One sneaky ant managed to get inside...

    cup measures 2.38H x 4.13D.
    saucer: 5.75D.

The ants were individually hand painted by me, Re Jin, then transfered onto decal paper.

    hand decorated. decals fired.
    microwave + dishwasher safe.
please note: due to the handmade nature of this item, ant placement may slightly vary.
