Ok thanks. I never heard of it before. I'll look into it.

^Great for babies. I sent my expat friend a tub for her newborn and she ended up ordering a load more for all the mothers in her group. It's great for cuts, rashes, dryness, itchiness, and I use it on my eczema in winter and even as a night cream. But mostly it's used as a lip balm - you see so many people, male and female, carrying around the little red tube.

^ I saw it on Amazon for $14.47 after shipping. I'll pass on that. I use Burts Bees on my baby, and pure shea, and coconut oil on my skin and hair. Maybe one day I'll try it.

Papayas are one of those fruits that are hard to get at just the right ripeness. I think it's even worse than avocado, which has a small window of ripeness: "not yet, not yet, not yet, omg amazing, disgusting." Which leads to a lot of people who hate it or are unimpressed because they eat a substandard representation.

Plus it's a tropical fruit, and it's my theory that it doesn't withstand any amount of travel very well at all.

I've only ever had it grilled over a fire while camping. It was damn good.
