I can't read beyond the title on this one. The study was obviously funded by Monsanto.

How could anybody think that genetically modified, irradiated, pesticide laced food is as healthy as organic? Are people that stupid to believe this?

For more about corporate farming practices in the U.S. and how cattle are raised, I recommend the film King Corn.

The documentary Food Inc will open your eyes.

I liked the part where they talk about commercial ground beef being treated with ammonia.

Haven't checked out Food, Inc., but it's on my list. We don't even know where food comes from anymore.

^^I never understood why corn flakes were treated with lye.

I'm scared for future generations. Science and corporate greed are permanently altering our food supply in unnatural ways, the deleterious effects of which on the human body probably won't be known for years or at least a generation. By then, it won't be like you can revert to natural food. This is a human catastrophe of epic proportions in the making.

Yes, and the fact that corporations have copyrighted seeds, and engineered seeds that specifically will die after one season, or produce infertile seeds itself means that people can be sued for "pirating" seeds or will have to buy new seeds every year even if they want to try growing their own food. It's very frightening.

But the allegiance is to the corporation, because they "provide money and jobs." Bull. The corporations aren't going to care about hungry Americans or hungry Europeans, etc, anymore than they care about hungry Africans. Once a person is poor and hungry and "has nothing left to offer," s/he deserves to be worked to death as a slave as far as those giant corporations are concerned.

I'm telling you companies like Monsanto and ADM are evil, evil. It is all about money and not general human welfare.

I've read several times but cannot personally verify that it was written in the Iraqi constitution that Iraqi farmers had to use (GMO) seeds solely provided by Monsanto.

    ^^ agree
