I love Kinder Happy Hippos... if you like hazlenut you'll LOVE these! I'm also a true sucker for pure sugar crap like Nerds, Runts, Tart N' Tinys, Lik em' Aid (Sp??) - basically a stick made out of sugar that you lick and dip into an attached bag of flavored sugar... MMMmmmmm! Love Aero (Sp?) Bars, also.

I agree w/posters about PB being perfect right from the jar.

Milk Chocolate Bordeaux from See's Candy. That's about the only "candy" I crave. And Baby Ruth's at Halloween.

I have great memories of candy as a kid and miss a bunch of it that I couldn't find like: Bubs Daddy Bubblegum, Bonomo's Turkish Taffy, Indian Head Pumpkin Seeds, Kits, BB Bats, the list goes on and on. So I found this website and it has most of these things. Every Mothers and Fathers Day they have a contest which I enter and this year I won a 4 lb. box of Candy You Ate As A Kid. I chose the 70's decade. You can get singles of anything or a 50, 60, 70 or 80's decade box, or make up a gift bag for someone.

The retro candy in the States is quite different from what I remember. We used to get a lot of British sweets up here, and some Canadian specialties.

I like sponge candy, red and black Twizzlers, Nibs, Coffee Crisp -- the old ones that weren't so sickly sweet -- Dove bars, Rolos, anything caramelly or minty, Turkish delight, licorice jawbreakers, Junior Mints, humbugs, blackcurrant candies, Eatmore bars, McIntosh toffee, cinnamon hearts...can't remember any more right now.

I don't like chocolate candy, so I'm more of a hard candy type person. I love Jolly Ranchers, Spree, Sweet Tarts and anything sour.

Maltesers! They're like Whoppers but better. The stores around here don't sell them so I have to order it online. Boo!

I forgot to say Dime bars, because I haven't had one in years. My stockist closed in 2000 and I am yet to find another supplier. They are hard to get in Australia.
