So now you pissfart around making these elaborate lunches so you have even less time for yourself?

I think a lot of our moms adhered to that. Now suddenly a kid turns into a prisspot eater and moms spends hours a day catering to them. I bet she also makes separate meals for everyone depending on what they say they will and will not eat.

I bought hard boiled egg molds because I really wanted heart and star shaped hardboiled egg slices for my salads. My kid does not give a fuck what I do with his food, I got big heart and star shaped cookie cutters for sandwiches and he was straight "Oh no, don't make me that!" My kid's favorite lunch is when I take leftovers from a favorite meal, nuke it, then throw them in his thermos container so he can have hot deliciousness for lunch, takes about 3 minutes tops, oh and while I have girl scout cookies if I throw in a thin mint.

This is why I don't have kids. My giving them $5 on their way out the door to school and telling them to grab a slice of pizza and an iced tea for lunch would never measure up to this.

That's not a nice way to refer to his girlfriend. The one who, unlike his wife, would rather fuck than spend 2 hours literally sculpting the kids' snacks.

This only sounds like a good idea if it would coincide with "Bring your flask to work and get drunk in the supply closet" Day.

Our kids dont have lunch at school,we might give them a sandwich or some money to buy a donat or a cheese pie from the cantine. Then they have lunch at home.Cooked ,honest meal.We were taught food is no game, you eat it to grow up and be healthy and it really is fuel for your body.Sometimes it is tasty and you enjoy it,other times not so much but you eat it anyway. That is how i still do it with my kids.I cannot imagine spending all that time fixing a lunch little shit will eat in seconds or fiddle with and not eat it,decorations and all...

Oh boy, those bring back memories. My boys loved them. But I only bought them on certain occasions. Like when I was going to go out and a sitter was coming over. I let them pick out the ones they wanted at the store. Now they're grown and wonderful, but awwww...I miss my little ones.

My Snowflake LOVED those disgusting things too. Myself, being raised poor, i never had a frozen meal until I was probably 30 years old! But, he loved those things... and he also believed he would be winning ALL the prizes! Oh & lunchables too... not going lie, he picked up a lunchable at the grocery store last week. Even at almost 16, he will STILL scarf down a pizza lunchable!
