Nope - even they have about 40g carbs per serve and I'm only allowed a max of 20g ALL DAY

How long are you on this diet for, AO? I'm thinking of doing it for a week or two as my jeans are starting to feel tight and winter is coming on....

For as long as it takes! LOL I've done two weeks of obsessive carb counting (read the label, read the label) and living on salad/veggies and meat/fish/eggs. Not sure how much weight I've lost (Mr Mirror tells me all I need to know) but my clothes feel much more comfortable so somethings working. It's fairly straightforward - no bread, no pasta, no rice, no potatoes and the obvious no chocolate, icecream etc. The only real problem is that I am horribly constipated, so I take a mild laxative too.

    aren't those diets hell?
for constipation, try putting som flaxseeds in a glass of water overnight, so drink the stuff in the morning..slimy but natural..or take a spoon of olive oil before you go to bed.. I imagine you're not allowed to drink coffee, but coffee in the morning=bowels movements
don't you have at least one meal a week where you're supposed to eat what you like? strict diets never work on the long term, at least not if you enjoy life and food...a bit of everything is the key..and lots of outdoor activity

A little bit of what you fancy does you good, as my granny would say. Problem is, over winter (it's spring here) I tend to eat a lottle bit of what I fancy and it usually involved raiding the local Italian bakery........ drool.
These strict diets cannot work long term, but a couple of weeks here and there keeps things under control - hopefully

I like the way on Sugar Busters you can have chocolate that's over 60% cocoa content - I think that's the number anyway
