They are just too sweet for me! One is all I can take, but everyone else I know loves them.

Krispy Kremes are amazing when they're fresh. They just melt in your mouth. Mmmm.
I won't eat them if they aren't fresh. There is a BIG difference in the taste and texture.

Me too. I've always preferred Dunkin' Donuts to Krispy Kreme, especially since Kripsy Kremes taste like ass after they've cooled down. DD makes a great "coffee roll"--it's a big old cinnamon bun doughnut. Yum.

Not as good as Montgomery Donuts in D.C., though, which went out of business after a blizzard destroyed the factory. Sad. Those were the best in the world.

Have you tried them? What do you think of them?
They've actually been in England for a while now. And yes, I love them, I work near a Krispy Kremes and a friend knew someone who worked there so we used to get whole boxes for free, each. It was heavenly. Couldn't eat too many at once though.

    I don't get it, they're just doughnuts.

Yeah I think they're overrated too.

^^Just donuts? Donuts are not a "just" item. If I could marry a donut I probably would. Except I'd eat it and it's donutty family members before the ceremony was over.

I don't like them at all. I've eaten them before and I don't understand the fuss. I had one and it was WAY too sweet, taking one bite felt like I was going to lapse into a diabetic coma. I love doughnuts though, and chocolate eclairs, mmmmm.... But Krispy Kremes don't do it for me at all.

My personal favorite donuts are plain glazed from Shipley's Donuts in Houston. They're always hot and fresh and they are also made behind a glass wall so you can watch.
