I feel like such an old fogey Luddite. The only thing even close to being a kitchen gadget that I have is a grippy thingy for getting the lid off jars. I'm not very gadgety anyway though. I keep forgetting to get a new peeler and have been using a lock knife out of the Bloke's tool box for peeling veg for a few months now.

Thanks, glad to hear I am not the only retard with bottles. I can open a beer bottle without problems though

I want either a pressure cooker/fryer or one of those countertop convection ovens that bakes and broils. I saw one in Fingerhut that you can even cook pizza in.

^^We have a pressure cooker. My MIL bought it for us. She cooks a lot of amazing Persian dishes for us in it. Personally, I've never used it myself.

Just don't fill it with shrapnel and take it out on the town and you'll be fine.

I don't know where you keep all this stuff!
I only have a multitasking (?) food processor and I have to put it above the fridge. I hate keeping things above the fridge, it makes it look messy.
The only gadget I need right now is a spatula to use when I make cake.

I have way more counter space in my house than my old apartment, but I don't know if I have the room for anything else. But I'm thinkin' about it...I love looking at the stuff in my Fingerhut catalogs; even the useless shit like hot dog cookers. I want one.

I still haven't worked out how to post pics on an iPad so I'll just have to say I like my little gravy/fat separator jug and my little silicone egg poachers.

Nesco Roaster Oven. Makes lasagne in a snap - you don't have to boil the noodles. And chicken and other meats come out so juicy and tender. Quick clean up too. Cannot live without:
