I love fried chicken. Popeyes is the best when it comes to fast food. KFC is not good at all anymore. I used to love getting a bucket of chicken when I was a kid, but now it just tastes like grease.

In the end, I prefer to make my own. It's much cheaper.

You're right, everybody's right, it's not as good anymore at all, but Little Goon wasn't off the mark by saying how expensive it is, compared to other fast food. They are proud of their stuff. Popeye's is good, it's not as greasy at all, and those biscuits with the honey...mmm!

Plus that was just a bitchin' manifesto.

I know, but that part was the accurate part. Them buckets don't come cheap.

I much prefer KFC's extra crispy to their soggy original recipe, but it's all just way too expensive.

The Church's here is pretty damn good and reasonably priced. Might depend on the location, because the Church's in my old town sucked. I usually just rely on my honey for all my fried chicken needs though, his is the best. It's worth the huge mess.

Popeyes mash and red beans are my favorite. Sometimes, I get two large sides, and biscuits and come home and make my own friend chicken.

Fuck all of you. You're all a bunch of unpatriotic, chicken snobs. I pledge allegiance to those 11 herbs and spices every damn day.

I like them, but there aren't any Popeye's that close to me anymore. I only went to one when I worked near there. I've yet to come across better beans and rice. Come to think of it, there are no KFC or Church's or Popeye's near me. I have to catch a bus to get to any of them.

But I have several fried chicken recipes I rely on before I'd hit up any of the fast food places.

Didn't the Colonel have to go to war with the Etruscan and the Minoan to bring his recipe back to Kentucky? I'm sure that's how he earned his promotion.

No, as I understand it (and I'm a history buff), the Colonel swiped the recipe from Popeye, who, at the time, reported to Captain Crunch. The Colonel then attempted to enlist the aid of the Jolly Green Giant, who declined, because he's strictly veg. Mrs. Paul secretly assisted the Colonel, using an underground system in conjunction with the Elias Brothers.
