I'm really surprised at how few people eat fruit on a regular basis. It's mostly low-fat and really nutritious. I eat it at least twice a day -- it's a great, easy snack and good for you, too.

I find it worrying that a lot of people at work take the piss out of me for bringing dried apricots/pineapple/mango into work and also fresh fruit for snacks and don't take them up on their offer of a McDonalds.

( I'm not evangelical about it btw, I just like to look after myself)

I hardly ever ate fruit until recently. When I was away at school I would eat watermelon when they had it out but that wasn't very often. Since I started my diet I try to make it a point to have at least one fruit serving a day. It's not usually fresh though, it's usually a fruit cup with my lunch.

I LOVE the Del Monte tropical cups mmmmm!

I've never met a fruit i didn't like. That being said, i am lazy so i generally eat oranges, apples, bananas and grapefruits on a day to day basis. Vegetables are the opposite--can't stand em. It's a real struggle to eat a vegetable a day. I love salad though. If i had my way, i would never eat another veggie--unless it's covered in cheese sauce or butter and salt.

I'm really unsatisfied by exotic fruits.

Like dragonfruit, it's like eating a gigantic sponge with grits in it.

I don't like exotic fruit either. Never had dragonfruit. I saw them at the grocery store the other day and was wondering if they tasted good. I guess I won't be trying it. The only fruit I like with little seeds in it is pomegranite. I can't stand kiwis, rapsberries and anything with little seeds in it.

Just an update. I've recenly gone grocery shopping and saw some clementines. Those are not the mini mandarin oranges I was talking about. The mini mandarin oranges were actually labelled "sugar mandarins." I bought 5 small bags, they are so yummy.

I try to eat fruit everyday. Grapes, bananas, apples, oranges, anything. It's one of the reasons my skin is so clear.

I love melons-especially honeydew. My favorite thing winter or summer: FROZEN GRAPES! I get the seedless kind, wash like crazy,
separate in little snack bags (10-12 per bag) stash all over my freezer. They are like mini popsickles-great in summer, even better in winter when your throat feels sore-ish. Lo cal snacking, too.
