There's a LOT of sugar/fructose/'energy' in soymilk to make it palatable. There was a fad for giving babies soy formula when my son was little (he got breastmilk) and these poor kids' baby teeth came through as blackened, rotten stumps from all the sugar in their formula.

so far i have only found one company that makes unsweetened soymilk http://www.sonice.ca/english/straight_answers.cfm

i actually like the taste of soymilk, b/c i like that nuttiness, i find the sweetened ones are sickly.

I buy this chinese brand of soy milk thats unsweetened, they also have organic soy bean soy milk as well. Can't remember their brand name though but if you have any Asian grocers around you, you could prolly come across one.

If you think it's crazy, you ain't seen a thing. Just wait until we're goin down in flames.

Finding organic (or at least 'non-genetically modified') soymilk isn't so much the problem as finding one with no added sugar.

A lot of asian soy milk doesn't have sugar in it. They prefer it bland and unsweetened
