I have a Thermador Professional and I have heating lamps in the blower to keep my food warm. I'm in love with it. When I clean it, I have to polish the lip prints off.
If you can't be a good example -- then you'll just have to be a horrible warning

Professional, that sounds professional and nice! Mine has a warmer on the stove top and a warmer drawer that I've never used, it's full of bake ware. My last oven was a convection oven with a microwave attached which I loved. I was so sad when it died. Now I love this stove as much, maybe I oughta give mine a kiss too!

I have lived with both. I prefer gas, but we have an electric smoothtop oven now. It is ok. It came with the house.

Hubby and are trying to decide this one, we went and started the planning for the new house and we can't decide. We've always had electric, which I think takes an awful long time to heat up and seems like it's uneven. I don't know if that's just my stove, it's all uneven on top and things come out unevenly cooked in the oven. My grandparents have a gas stove and I don't know if they have problems but like someone said, a pan of soup boils in about a blink of an eye! That's better than 3 minutes in the microwave.

Unless you are suicidal. It is nearly impossible to kill oneself in an electric oven. It takes way too long and who wants to die while being bored to death?

I like gas better, but am stuck with an electric stove because that is what is in the house.
    Keep passing the open windows.
