This pic seems to be from 2003, so it looks like this "delicacy" has been around for a while:

It's not working for me now either; here's the link to the page the pics are on, maybe this will work OK:
    Deep Fried Coke

Since these pics say they are from 2003, how can Mr. Gonzales claim to have just created this product?

we are going to our local fair (San Diego County Fair) on the 21st, and this is the first year i cant eat all of the crap they sell. This year its Krispy Kreme Chicken Sandwiches along with Fried Coke and fried apples. In the past i've had fried zucchini, fried twinkies andfried oreos. This healthy diet wont kill me, but i just wanna try the new stuff!!!!!!!

Krispy Kreme Sandwich.....I don't even like KK donuts, on their own. The Sandwich might just push my stomach over the edge and straight into gastronomical hell.

On what PLANET do these people come from?

Wow! That is crazy looking stuff! I can't believe they added whipped cream and a cherry on top...and what looks like powdered sugar

I know it seems like ewwww....but I'd try it. I love deep fried turkey, not turducken, just turkey. I've tried deep fried candy bars. I like deep fried cauliflower, pickles, green beans, mac and cheese, etc. I don't make a habit of eating like that, but occassionally I indulge.

Where I am from, we call that TurDucken. Some people just love it. I tried it and didn't like the duck. Blech.

I will try anything involving an Oreo for the record. If I ever completely quit caring what I look like, I will live off, for a very short time most likely, Oreos and Fruity Pebbles. Yurmmmm!

The reason why all food at the county fair is on sticks is because you need to move around. If you stand too still they will fry you.
