MUAHAHAHA! I'm a big fan of Popeye's, myself. Delicious stuff. Love their biscuits too. I love the taste of KFC's spices, but I prefer Popeye's crispiness and sides. KFC side-dishes suck ass.

Mmm....I love fried chicken. I'lll do KFC once in a while, but sometimes it doesn't agree with me so well. When I make it myself, I add cajun seasoning for a little kick.

Fried Chicken is not big here where I live

We basically only have one chicken joint which is KFC... yummy... Original recipe (boneless) is the best. A while ago at a function this woman cooked up (what she called) Southern Chicken. My GOD it was like heaven. Not too oily, but wickedly flavorsome and crispy...!

Might try and make something similar for tea tomorrow night.

    I love Popeye's.

There was a soul food/southern cafe in Brooklyn that made the BEST BEST BEST fried chicken ever. It's closed now. *sigh*

Best fried chicken was a joint not from from my university that boasted of 'Broasted' chicken. Their fried chicken was to die for and you could get sides like fried okra and collard greens.

Probably my favorite food in the world right next to pizza.

In terms of chains I like KFC, that nasty secret recipe that is so good but will have you running for the bathroom in minutes and make you feel queasy and horrid for hours afterwards. I also like Popeye's. Church's is my least favorite, quality of chicken is not good.

I would like to try it once in an authentic Southern style restaurant.

I've only been there once, but there's a place in Harlem called Amy Ruth's. They do a double honey dipped southern fried chicken with all the fixin's.

My favorite was home cooked by a friend's 85 year old southern grandma in Atlanta. Omg those collard greens.
