The french fry-coated hot dog

People eat french fries and hot dogs at the same meal. They probably take a bite of a hot dog and shove a few fries in their mouths before chewing both simultaneously. Why is this particular concoction grossing people out? I don't see the difference.

if i ate hot dogs, i might try it. how is it that different than a hot dog with fries on the side? this is just a handy on-the-go version.

Food has got to look appealing to the eye to entice someone to eat it. The hotdog looks horrible like a cheap generic brand, and the fries look greasy and cheaply made. A good looking plate of fries and a decent brand of hotdog would appeal to me a lot quicker than that greasy looking mess, it just doesn't look appealing to the eye.

yeah, the idea kind of appeals to me, since i love a good hot dog and though i rarely eat them with fries, this seems like a good way to have the hot dog and the fries and skip the bread. but i forgot about the batter. i don't like the taste of deep fried batter so i think i'd rather eat the bun.
plus, it looks like it would be difficult to put condiments on.

Doesn't look that bad, heck french fries go with a lot of things, why not a hot dog? It's not like in many joints they don't serve hot dogs with fries anyhow.

I dislike hot dogs, so this is very disgusting to me. And it is sure to be a new hit at the Ohio State Fair no doubt-the more horrible and fat-laden a food is, the more likely it will show up there-and be popular. I bet this would be a big hit in either the small crap town I live in, or the other small crap town I work in.
