White rice isn't whole-grain rice. Just like white flour, it's lacking in fibre and nutrients, because it's been refined such that the bran encasing the rice grain has been removed.

Thank you. So it's just overprocessed & stripped down like white white bread...

Now that I'm used to eating brown rice, I find most white rice except basmati or jasmine utterly tasteless.

I eat brown rice with most things, with one exception. I absolutely cannot eat chinese food with brown rice. It just loses something. I love perfectly steamed white rice with chinese food, its just so yummy (there are times where the majority of what I eat when I eat chinese is the rice).

Yea I like jasmin rice, too, very very fragrant. I also like wild rice/black rice.

Wild rice and black rice are delicious, especially mixed with brown rice. I'm trying to stay away from the carbs tho!

I also walk a lot. It's a 10 minute walk to work from the bus stop and a 10 minute walk back...that's 20 minutes of exercise a day.

All brassicas smell like farts to me. Cabbages, broccoli, cauliflower, all of them. They're STINKY FART VEGETABLES.

Sorry for the squemish, but is it true that asparagus make your urine smell bad?

It makes it smell different, I dunno if I'd call it bad. Lots of things change the way your urine and feces smell, though. Try a curry sometime.
