how about Velveeta fudge

Forgot about wacky packs and now I can smell the gum. Great stuff.
It's all about the velveeta. My mother would make just about everything with velveeta. Even Hamburger helper. I survived.
Anyone hungry now?

I was just fixing to post about Velveeta Fudge! It's the best!
Velveeta Fudge
Easy fudge made with cheese. Ingredients:
Preparation:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 8 ounces pasteurized process cheese, Velveeta, cubed
- 1 1/2 pounds confectioners' sugar, about 5 cups unsifted
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 cup non-fat dry milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts
In a large saucepan over medium heat butter and cheese cubes together, stirring frequently; remove from heat. Sift together confectioners' sugar and cocoa; add to cheese, mixing well. Stir in non-fat dry milk, vanilla and nuts. Turn into a 9x9x2-inch pan; chill until firm and cut into squares. Makes about 3 pounds of Velveeta Fudge.
yes!
i actually have one stashed in a kitchen drawer, grape. i always get grape when i'm in the states (that particular food colouring is banned here so you can't find any bright purple candy with that special fake grape taste, it's tragic. i have to smuggle them back when i travel)
also:
and fireballs. the most sado-masochistic candy ever (one layer of hot pain, one layer of sugary sweet pleasure but oh so delicious and addictive. )

I love Fireballs! They are so so awesome! I make pickled cucumber rings and substitute Atomic Fireballs for the cinnamon candies in the recipe to give them that sweet spicy kick.
I don't think anyone here will remember this gum.
They don't make this taffy anymore.
and always homemade Mac'n'Cheese

Into the sunrise. The sunset is sad to me .it only means the night is coming.
I loved when my Mom would make tuna salad sandwiches on toast...cut diagonally of course. I used to get so excited about TV dinners and pot pies, because my Mom made almost everything from scratch, so we rarely ever got stuff outta a box. CheesePopcorn, homemade donuts, fruit (bananas, strawberries, blackberries) with half & half poured over them, anything home-canned are all things that remind me of when i was growing up.

Seems like I remember this.
This might sound really gross, but ... jello with milk poured over it.
When I was a little girl, I used to go with my dad to a local Chinese restaurant. The couple who owned the place always gave me a bowl of jello and milk for dessert.
I haven't had the stuff in over 35 years, but I still remember that it was my favourite part of the meal.
