And back on topic, I just had one of these. Our drought was interrupted by just enough rain to deter trick-or-treaters, so I am left with a bowl of them.

I have a lot of Kit Kat's too but I don't really like them. I also have Smarties and Aeros. I only have 3 tiny Coffee Crisps left, and they're my favourite. I'm saving one for dessert!

Nigella Lawson (my favourite cookery guru) does a totally GROSS but easy peasy Halloween dish called Blood Clots and Pus. Basically you make 3 jellos (strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant) and after they set kinda squish them all together in a bloody gooey mess. The pus is lime jello made with milk instead of water. It looks EXACTLY like the real thing.

Put some blood clots and pus in little noodle boxes (+ a free plakky spoon) and look at the faces of the little darlings when they open them. Nobody has puked on the spot yet, but there have been a few green faces LOL

I'm so bad. I go through the kids' candy to make sure none of it has been messed with--and steal the stuff I like!

My favorites as a kid--anything chocolate.

Now, I love Appleheads, but we rarely get them. And the Twix bars. I steal all of those

Your not alone girl, I need to be in Chocaholics Anonymous for my addiction.
Someone would have to hit me to get outta a See's candy store.
Im ashamed to say what I did for a klondike bar...

Ooooooh, gotta try making Blood Clots and Pus. Awesome gross factor, and sounds tasty, too!

Pacific, I freeze my mini-chocolate bars too! The Milky Ways get a little too hard, but great for gnawing on, anyway.

I'd have to say the best thing in my sons' treat bags this year were packets of Pudding Bites. They taste just like pudding...mmmmm!!!! My aunt (who gave them out) probably thought they were healthier than candy. Nope, just as much sugar as candy, YUM!
