My favorite flavor has to be Cookies n' Cream...I love it! My second favorite is Strawberry Cheesecake.

I love ice-cream, but I don't eat it too often. I used to live off the stuff in the summer when I was a kid, but as my taste changed over the years, I find it too rich for the heat, so I usually stick to frozen yogurts or sorbets-my personal favorite recently is peach sorbet.

In terms of ice cream, I really love this homemade strawberry ice cream this local shop does in my neighborhood. It has strawberry chunks in it and everything. Also caramel, vanilla, cookie....most flavours except chocolate, oddly enough, I adore the stuff but hate it in ice cream form. I tried Ben and Jerry's once (Fish Food something? But with a cutesy spelling?) and couldn't eat more than two spoonfulls, the stuff was like melted cake!

We have a place called Cold Stone Creamery here and I had never been before maybe a year ago...and I am sorry I ever went. They too have cake batter ice cream and I tell you what - if you like licking the beaters when you make a cake from a box, this ice cream is like a drug. I have had to tell my husband to just keep driving when we pass otherwise I would be a blimp. SO GOOD!!!

Yesterday, my grandparents took me out for ice cream. Our school has an ice cream store where they sell only homemade ice cream made by students in the agriculture/dairy program and it's a tradition. Since my grandfather graduated from my school, he was really excited to relive the old days and go get some of the famous ice cream with my grandmother while they were in town.

Even though I'm not really an ice cream fan, I decided to get a cone and it was AMAZING. Two scoops of lemon custard ice cream in a waffle cone with pound cake mixed in. Mmm.

I saw it. It's made by Edy's and I bought it because my son asked me and it was fantastic! Matter of fact, going to the store to buy more today!

It changes a bit, since I love ice cream so much, but my current favs are B&J Americone Dream and Everything But The....

For classic flavors, I've always been more partial to vanilla than chocolate.
