I'm addicted to The Great British Bake Off. Like watched every season multiple times. It's so charming and the things they can do are simply amazing.

She's bossy as hell and is always cutting people off in mid conversation. I hate that.

I like Kelsey's Essentials...but now she's doing one of those "great eats across America" shows - I can't stand those and they don't belong on The Cooking Channel.

I caught a few episodes of Dinner at Tiffany's. I kind of liked Tiffany Thiessen in it but something about her bothered me at the same time.

^^I agree, I kind of feel like "Since when are you a good cook, Miss Thing?" when I watch her show. On the other hand, I watch Valerie Bertinelli's show and I love her, she's so likable, IMO. I have yet to watch Patricia Heaton's show...

I always liked Sam the Cooking Guy (?). It looked like the show was filmed in his own kitchen. He made the recipes look easy and delish. I can't remember if it was on Food Network or the Cooking Channel or some other channel.

he films it in a home, not sure if it's his or not. He's a local (San Diego). the jerky camera work is a deal breaker for me. Other than that, it's a good show.

Jacques is my God. Food just behaves in his hands. I love Martha's Cooking School and Martha Bakes. I don't eat pasta anymore so if I watch Lidia I'll want to cook it. I wished they showed Julia Child reruns. Marcel Desaulniers used to have a show and he was a chocolate guru. Every damn thing had chocolate ganache. I guess I'm not watching any current cooking shows. Oh wait, I do like America's Test Kitchen. They have very interesting recipes.

You can stream all the Julia you want from PBS.

Meryl doesn't even try anymore. She just calls Lanvin and asks for curtains with a belt.~Bitter
Can we interest you in Leann Rimes? She has a nice little cadre of fans you'd probably enjoy.~ Pecan Pie

Love this new show, Texas Cake House; they make some amazing cakes, and the couple is pretty darn likable:

Ina. I like what she makes, her voice is very soothing and relaxing. plus, i want to be ina when i grow up - rich, relaxed and with a gay husband who adores me but leaves me alone most of the time.

i also quite like bobby flay's shows. he's easy to follow and i've gotten good ideas from his shows.

i also like watching bourdain and not just because i think he's hot. they're not so much cooking shows as travel and eating shows. chef's table is phenomenal too though also not really a cooking show so much as a food one.

    i like ina, too.

i don't watch cooking shows as much as i used to so not even sure what's new out there.

once i was having dinner at my fave restaurant and ina was at the next table with two other people (not jeffrey). girlfriend could put it away!

another time, i was walking down the street and ina, tyler florence, and the head of food network were on the sidewalk in front of tyler's (then) cooking store. pretty funny to see the 3 of them together ....

i went to see tina fey and ina garten discussing garten's last book (and a million other things) at BAM and it was amazing. ina is funny! and tina fey also wants ina garten's life, which kind of says it all.

also, how can i forget martha stewart, though i mostly watch for the waspy camp.
