    Trix !

Later on, Cap'n Crunch when my kids were little. Honey Nut Cheerios too, but they cut your mouth even with milk so I stopped eating it.

My # 1 was and still is 'Alphabets'
    I haven't touched a bowl of cereal in yrs....sigh

Sugar Pops (they're Corn Pops now)
    Trix
    Frosted Flakes
    Mini Wheats
For a change, she'd buy some sort of chocolate krispies (don't recall the name of the cereal)

Mom wouldn't allow soda in the house, but we made up for it with sugar cereal.....oh boy did we

I loved the non-sugary stuff like Corn Flakes and Shredded Wheat (not the frosted kind). But, if I was lucky I could get a box of the sweet stuff out of my mom. I loved Qwisp and Frankenberry.

God, some of these cereals are so sweet they make my teeth hurt just thinking about them

We were only allowed healthy cereals, except when we spent the summers with my grandmother, who spoiled us, foodwise (She was a tougher disciplinarian, however)

I dreamed of the summer, when we went to her house and I could eat Strawberry Shortcake cereal, which was basically a bowl full of nothing but the red colored Trix. Yum!

"just like a chocolate milkshake only crunchy".

I know they're loaded with sugar, but shit, how much sugar and bad stuff is in Frankenberry!?!

I'm with you Venus, sore teeth just looking at it!

My dad was a cereal nazi too - Total, shredded wheat or rice puffs (uggh, gross!) were the only things we were allowed. Now, as an adult, I love a bowl of Cap'n Crunch (even though it tears the roof of my mouth apart) or Fruity Pepples.

I used to like Rice Krispies and Raisin Bran. Haven't eaten them in years, tho. I also liked Puffed Wheat.

Short lived, but I still remember the song from the commercial, and I really loved these flakes!

Can we interest you in Leann Rimes? She has a nice little cadre of fans you'd probably enjoy.~ Pecan Pie
