Which coffee do you drink?

illy espresso and also capeuleu (guatemalan coffee) espresso ground. i usually make myself a latte every morning at home.

Verona was my first favorite. It's their "chocolate" coffee, designed to go with any and all chocolate. Kenya's a good lateral move if you're ever looking for something different, similar strength but a little "fruitier".

Yes, I know it makes me sound like a pretentious freak, but they make us try obscene amounts of coffee until we can actually taste those differences...

Ooh, wow.. I usually put vanilla flavoring in my Verona.. maybe I'll put mocha syrup since it goes so well with chocolate.. better than eating a chocolate croissant

I'll try the Kenya.. would you recommend adding anything to that to dress it up a bit or just drink it as is?

I just drink mine with a little bit of milk and sugar, but it can also lend itself to a mocha syrup well (think chocolate & orange).

I first got introduced to it because of a stupid coffee trick that you can only do with Kenya. It mixes really well with orange juice (I'm not kidding), half orange juice, half Kenya, and it tastes like grapefruit juice. It works best with Kenya because it's already citrusy, other coffees sorta just taste weird.

I buy different branded flavored coffees when I'm in TJMaxx and Marshalls - I love stuff like Maple Nut, Hazelnut, Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie (just bought some pumpkin pie syrup to add to my coffees). On the way to work, a couple of days a week, I drive thru Timmy Ho's and grab a latte or something.

I work with a coffee uber-snob. We ONLY use an expensive brand of beans (NOT ground), and we MUST grind it fresh every morning. And the folks in my office like their coffee with a pH level of about 5000 - UberSnob made the coffee this morning and my stomach churned. I had to add about 1/4 cup flavored cream, it was that strong. And when he makes it that way, everyone else walks by his office and comments, "GREAT COFFEE, Craig". Ook.

I really like Pumpkin Pie coffee flavor too. Never would have thought it, but the kind I have bought was really good. Not too sweet. And smells great. Thanks for reminding me of it!

lol, we used to trick customers into trying it (only the regulars though). We'd shove a cup in their face all "try this!" and when they were like "hey, that's good, what is it" we'd tell them we just mixed the orange juice and coffee they like to have side by side into 1 drink and they were shocked. We call them OJ shooters in my store.

It's worth trying at least once, even just for the novelty.

About pumpkin pie, I'm a whore for anything pumpkiny. Love pumpkin coffee, have tried really great pumpkin beer, I have pumpkin pie tobacco for my hookah. I usually double up on the pumpkin syrup though when I have it in coffee, I want the pumpkin more than the coffee

Whoa... orange juice. I never would have thought of that... I can see how it might taste like grapefruit juice because of the acidity of the orange juice and the bitterness of the coffee. I'll have to try it one of these mornings. Thanks for the tip

eta: OMG I have been wanting to try pumpkin beer for almost two years now! Every time I have someone around to buy it for me *ahem* it's either not the season for pumpkin beer or we're at a store that doesn't carry it. I really want to try it this Thanksgiving... do you think it'll still be around in stores?

Trader Joe's, the big cheap can. They have the best coffee, and in the winter I buy their mint hot chocolate mix for the kiddo's. I love their Chai Latte mix, too, but since I gave up the sugar I make my own by brewing their red chai tea and adding cream and stevia.

I just bought a bag of hazelnut coffee from TJMaxx. I was a little worried about the purchase, but the aroma was fantastic, and the taste was very good. A nice surprise for 5 bucks! Hazelnut is my all time fav. But that pumpkin sounds good.

The Maxx and Marshall's have a great selection of coffees! They carry whole bean and ground, decaf and regular, and all sorts of flavors. Their prices are hard to beat.

I WISH we had Tim Hortons in my area! I love their coffee, but can only get it approx 2 hrs away from me in any direction.
