Mojiitos!! So good
Something with pomegranate, I want to make my own up.
There have been some pomegranate margarita recipes floating around for awhile made with fresh pomegranate instead of just the juice. Those sounded delicious.
Here's one, but it's not the one I saw that I loved. That will take some more digging...
2 ounces white tequila
1/2 ounce Triple Sec
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon fresh pomegranate juice (Can substitute bottled pomegranate juice)
6 ounces ice (or more)
Garnish with lime wheel or wedge
Mix all the ingredients in a blender until smooth and frothy. Serve in a chilled glass and garnish with lime.
^Perfect! I just bought some pomegranate juice 2 days ago. yummmmmmm thanks NoDay, let us know when you find the one you liked better. I'll try this on a day when I'm feeling brave (or loaded up on antihistamine and food)
not much of a cocktail person, i pretty much only drink wine.

I don't know if I'll be able to find it. I originally saw it in an issue of Weight Watchers magazine about 2 years ago, maybe more. I haven't been able to turn anything up through Google.
All the better if it's from WW! oh well. If you run across it that would be nice.
I like to make watermelon granita, and then pour in some vodka. Other than that, white wine or g&t. Alas, I'll probably be knocked up soon, so no more booze for me
I've drunk lots of cocktails, except for Bloody Mary. So I'll try it, even though I don't think I'll like it.
Er, BTW, you guys only drink cocktails in summer??
I loooooove a really good mojito, as they're not too sweet and very refreshing. I like margaritas as well, but it has to be well-made - I'm not a drink snob, I just don't care for a lot of slush or too much sugar. A sour lime margarita on the rocks (no slush) with a hefty salt rim is heaven. A simple whiskey sour is a good option as well.
I do love a nice cold beer out on the deck or at a restaurant patio in the summer as well. I like lighter beers, but with flavour, nothing watery like Coors or Canadian. They have their place as thirst-quenchers during summer chores and sports, but if I'm sitting down to enjoy a drink I like a little more flavour! Hoegaarden is definitely my favourite, with Leffe, Keith's and Moosehead close behind. I like Strongbow and Magner's (is that it?) cider too. And wines are always a good choice.

G & T's for me, mint julep, champagne..oh yes.
I love mojitos in a sugar rimmed glass with crushed ice, fresh mint, and a stick of sugarcane. I also like margaritas and cape cods.
I had a bloody mary and 2 crown & cokes at lunch today; delicious!
