He also thinks hiking boots are the height of chic, and that they go with everything.

Are you expecting him home tonight? He's going away 'on business' this evening, so he tells me, won't be back till Friday. Hmmmm.....
A big boy did it and ran away.

My man and I share the cooking duties pretty evenly. He whips up some truly delicious things, never using a recipe, always improvising, and it almost always turns out beautifully. I like to improvise as well, though I will use recipes for baking. That's the only thing he doesn't do, bake. We don't really take turns with the cooking so much as we cook together, each making a different dish or whatnot.

He grew up on a farm, and while his mum isn't a huge foodie, she did cook every night, bake regularly, and always used fresh natural ingredients from the farm/garden. So he and his brother both grew up helping in the kitchen - I love his mum for that!

My guy can cook!! In fact, he's the chef of our house. He's middle eastern and cooks the best food He can make anything though, not just the food he was raised on. I can cook too, but he really enjoys it, not me.

^^ I know I am sick of cooking already. I mostly do it for all the flatmates too cause that is my designated chore. I am sick of it quite frankly. Everyone uses the excuse that they don't know how to cook. I call bullshit! I am going to buy them all those cookbooks for dummies as Christmas presents ! Even my S O. That should get my message across!

Oh boy, you need to renegotiate your designated chore Voodoo. Why the hell should you cook for the lazy buggers? You're not their mother. When I was flatsharing we occasionally pooled resources to cook a 'joint meal' but otherwise we did our own thing.

Well my SO can cook basic stuff like fajitas, tacos, burgers, pasta, steak and that's pretty much it. His dad is an amazing cook, too bad my SO doesn't have his father's cooking gene lol.

Well I am definately ticked off now. I made everyone lasagna and I heard one of the males complaining that is not what they felt like.

So I grabbed it out of the oven in frustration and I f*cken burnt my wrist on the dish. I am about to move out of here. But I can't afford it on my own.

Ungrateful flatmates. Sorry had to vent.
