Well, I finally purchased a bottle to find out what the hoopla over this sauce is all about
.....and..... it has become my current hot sauce replacement.
Hoopla-ing right along with y'all now.

Is it really that good? I like hot sauce, but hot sauce is generally hot sauce to me. Does it taste different or something?

It doesn't have that ever-lasting heat that a lot of other hot sauces have. It's full of flavor. Just delicious.

It's tasty on just about everything. Chicken, fish, veggies, rice, noodles, pho, soups, etc.

I'll have to give a go next time I'm at the store, then.

Ingredients listed are: ripened chili peppers, Sugar, salt , garlic, distilled vinegar, potassium sorbate, sodium bisulfite as preservative, and xanthan gum.
Just for you guys, I've put some on a fingertip and tasted it.
I can definitely taste the peppers talked about. There's an onion (although it isn't listed as an ingredient.. maybe from the pepper itself?) and garlic taste along with heat, just like the one you get from tasting Tabasco. It has a consistency like ketchup.
    Very flavorful!

It's the garlic and sugar that really makes the difference. The sugar:vinegar ratio is excellent.

I'm a big fan of vinegary hot sauces. Franks is my favorite, but Sriracha is my second fav and a lot more versatile.

I like Frank's too. I like to add it to potato salad sometimes, it cuts the richness.
